Who has not heard of robin hood? spelled Robyn Hode in older manuscripts,he has acquire such fame that today all kind heated bandits are known as Robin Hoods, and yet no one deven knows who the real robin hood was, or even if he existed at all.

In fact when the robin Hood legend began, longbows were rarely used.They begin to appear in legal records as favourite weapon of Robbers from the mid of 13th century onward.Later they played a vital role in England’s victories at crecy 1346 and agincourt 1415.The Longbow was much cheaper than cross bow .It was also quicker and easier to use too but needed great skill to be used effectively.
